Our Story
"Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful." William Morris' essential philosophy is at the heart of Little Flea Antiques, the business run by the Dupont Little Flea's founder and proprietor John Harvey. A DC resident since 2010, John left a 20+ career in global philanthropy to launch the Dupont Little Flea Market in 2019. Little Flea Antiques brings together so much of John's experiences and passions, from anthropology, art history and nature, to global travel (John has lived in or visited 59 countries), to entertaining, to building community. With so much warm and kind support from Dupont Circle neighbors and the many visitors to our beautiful neighborhood, John looks forward to guiding Little Flea Antiques and the Dupont Little Flea Market for many years to come!
