Our Story
After finishing grad school (Masters & PhD in Geography = big map nerd), Candice Luebbering wanted a creative outlet. She wanted to make tangible things, not just digital products, and bring together her interests in maps & geography with interior design & repurposing goods. All Mapped Out started in March 2012 when she began repurposing her vintage atlas collection into map coasters.
The business remained a side hustle while she pursued a career in academia and then the nonprofit sector, but at the onset of 2022 she took the leap to commit full-time to All Mapped Out and being a maker. Candice creates geography and cartography inspired decor to express our connection to places through how we decorate our unique spaces. Through her work she gets to hear the personal geographies of her customers and learn about the world from their journeys. It’s a dream come true.
